2021 Alumni & Student Photo Contest

Details

A degree in Mining & Geological Engineering or Economic Geology unlocks a world of opportunities and career paths! From traveling the world to work in one-of-a-kind locations to developing the latest technological advances in the field, there’s so much graduates from our program get to achieve.

We asked alumni and current students of the programs to submit photos that best capture the University of Arizona Mining & Geological Engineering experience. We wanted to see where their career has taken them, some of the unique and exciting opportunities they have been or are a part of, and the things that make them love their jobs and degree! We received several remarkable images!

Congratulations to Alumni James Verbois for wining our 2nd Annual Photo Contest! James’ photo will be framed and displayed in the Mining and Metallurgy building at the University of Arizona!

Thank you!

We want to thank everyone that participated and submitted their photos. We also want to thank students, faculty, alumni, and the community that participated by voting. Be on the lookout for next year's contest.

And the winner is…
