Tour of Arizona Wulfenite Mines
The variety and quality of wulfenite specimens that come from Arizona make Arizona wulfenite famous the world over. It is no surprise that in 2017 the Arizona legislature declared wulfenite to be the state mineral of Arizona. This tour will take you around six of Arizona's famous wulfenite mines. Known as "localities" in the mineral collecting world, these mines are each famous for producing different colors and shapes of wulfenite crystal. In the tour you will be taken to the location of each mine. There you will be able to read a little about the history of the mine and see some pictures of the beautiful wulfenite specimens produced there.

How to Use this Tour:
The virtual tour of wulfenite mines in Arizona uses Google Earth Web and is most easily viewed with the free Google Earth app for smart devices or via the most recent version of the Chrome web browser. Once the tour loads you will be taken to the tour start page. When you have read a little about the history of wulfenite and Arizona, scroll down and press the red "To the Mines!" button to begin. Each stop on the tour will include some pictures of wulfenite specimens found at the mine and a short description of the mine on the right, and a Google Earth window on the left where you can explore the area around the mine using Google Earth navigation. When you are ready to move on, just click the turquoise colored button found at the bottom of the mine description.
